So this one goes out to Eikost who is our biggest fan and encourager… if only I could change his life like Heidi changed Cathy’s. I will reserve the exact location that I found this treasure, as it happens to be my secret place for finding great things like this. And another disclaimer, it was actually my sister Madalyn who found it. Anyway, without further adieu… I present to you a 6th graders autograph book from 1978, entitled “My Gang” and appropriately adorned with a graphic of 3 raccoons high-fivin’. There were a lot of way’s Heidi influenced those around her but I will share the most touching of them all…

Alana made this delectable summertime treat for us today. It was so good that Bill said it was like “a frozen fresh SweeTart.” That is some high praise coming from a man who loves a SweeTart above all else. Thanks, A, for sharing.

Today is Liz Allen’s birthday! Yesterday was mine. We went out for breakfast at Uncle John’s Pancake House. Apparently they will make you a pancake “bear” for your birthday…. Koala? Awesome.

So. Have you seen this Brushes app for the iPhone? That’s right. With your finger. Exports QT movies and high-rez PNG. Awesome.

Painted this Apple while waiting for a ride. See the movie…

You know how as a kid combination food was a good idea? … Yeah, crayon soup really set me back a few box Crayolas and prompted a crayon-ban on any new crayon purchases for me until like 1st grade. Mom didn’t like my creative idea even though I wasn’t going to actually EAT it, but you know, mix it up and pretend to. Or that combination bologna salad my grandma made that I actually didn’t think twice about eating and  now it makes me want to heave. So, its established that I don’t have the best historical menu. HOWEVER, I did witness a child’s “treat” the other day that made me pause and really consider if I would’ve eaten THIS as a child.

Project Wordvid
Madlove presented a word. A single word. A word that could be interpreted in many ways. The mission was to create a short video piece illustrating the aforementioned word. The video could be anything. Any combination of footage, animation, motion graphics, claymation, digital video, music et cetera. Short, long... doesn't matter. Just don't break the law.

Capital A
The kids of Capital A understand that ticket stubs and t-shirts can't capture that rock show spirit quite like a hearty piece of stock. It truly is nostalgia's sweetest medium, and it's why we handcraft each of our concert posters in convenient rectangular shapes just for you!
