Today is Liz Allen’s birthday! Yesterday was mine. We went out for breakfast at Uncle John’s Pancake House. Apparently they will make you a pancake “bear” for your birthday…. Koala? Awesome.

So. Have you seen this Brushes app for the iPhone? That’s right. With your finger. Exports QT movies and high-rez PNG. Awesome.
Painted this Apple while waiting for a ride. See the movie…

You know how as a kid combination food was a good idea? … Yeah, crayon soup really set me back a few box Crayolas and prompted a crayon-ban on any new crayon purchases for me until like 1st grade. Mom didn’t like my creative idea even though I wasn’t going to actually EAT it, but you know, mix it up and pretend to. Or that combination bologna salad my grandma made that I actually didn’t think twice about eating and now it makes me want to heave. So, its established that I don’t have the best historical menu. HOWEVER, I did witness a child’s “treat” the other day that made me pause and really consider if I would’ve eaten THIS as a child.

Not much clever to say about all this, but I wanted to point any interested peeps toward a few new spots that Madhouse just finished up for the Zoo. These ones were a long time coming. They are numbers 2 & 3 in our portfolio.
Alana, Steve and I drove to Lorain today for a nursing skills lab conference. We are introducing our very own web application. Everything seems to be going well and some folks are interested in our goods. Alana even found some down time to do a little extra dev.

Today was Day One of the video shoot for the Toledo Zoo spot. There were lots of kids, parents,
and zoo folks with animals. One such animal was Molly the goat. Seemed Molly had to relieve
herself before being able to be photographed. She did so and them some. Bill pitched in with
clean up duty to clear the set so shooting could resume. Kinda makes ya wonder what Day Two
will bring.
Not sure if other studios adopt language and terms as their own lingo, but we do. And of course we think we are the first and only users or such phrases. Not talking about “The Future Is Now” or “Maximising Your Dispersement Float” kind of market-speak. We’re talking about useful, practical terms of creative shorthand.
Hence, we give you The Baseball Card.
